Fish casserole with potatoes and spinach

It is a perfect combination of potatoes, pieces of fish and soft spinach. And all this in a mixture of milk and egg under the cheese crust. The recipe is very simple and accessible to everyone.
Ingredient :

  • Potatoes – 450 g;
  • Fresh spinach – 70 g;
  • Cheese – 80 g;
  • Eggs (large) – 2 pcs .;
  • Milk – 70 ml

  • Butter (to grease the shape) – 10 g.

Cooking steps :
Peel a squash, grate it and cut it into large cubes. Put them in the pan, add water and cook until cooked (20-25 minutes). Drain the water, mash the potatoes, add a pinch of salt. Wash and dry the fish, remove the fins and debris, cut the fillet from the ridge on both sides, then into small pieces.
Wash, dry spinach. Put the cheese on a medium grater. Beat the eggs in a bowl. Add milk. Stir and add salt and pepper. Grease the baking dish with butter, put the puree, and over the puree – the spinach. Then the layer of fish. Slightly salted. Spread a layer of cheese evenly. Pour the egg-milk mixture on top. Cook the casserole at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.

Mackerel on a bed of salt

Baked mackerel on a bed of salt is a simple way to make fish in the oven.
The fish cooked in this way proves to be very tender, tasty, aromatic.
Ingredient :

  • Macro – 950 g;
  • Sare – 1 kg;
  • Eggs (egg white only) – 1 pc .;
  • Lemon – 1-2 pcs. (190 g);
  • Onions – 55 g;
  • Fresh parsley – 15 g;

Cooking steps :
Peel and wash the onion. Rinse and dry the parsley. Wash the mackerel well, clean it. Leave your head and tail. Dry the fish with paper towels. Cut the onion into thin rings. Drain the juice from a lemon, about 4-5 tablespoons. Cut the second lemon into half circles.
If you have a large lemon, divide it in half – drain the juice in half and the other half – cut it into slices. Marinate the onion in the lemon juice with a little pepper. Leave it for 15 minutes. Then place the marinated onion inside the mackerel. Salting of the fish is not necessary.
Add the parsley and lemon slices. Leave a little greenery and a few slices of lemon to decorate the plates when serving.
Divide the egg into egg whites and yolks. Yolk is not necessary. Mix the salt with the egg whites. Add 2 teaspoons of cold water. Mix well. Turn on the oven, let it heat up to 180 degrees. Cover with baking sheet. Pour 1/3 of the salt on it, smooth. Put the fish on the salt.
Sprinkle the fish on top with the remaining salt. Spread the salt evenly, leaving the head and tail uncovered. Bake the mackerel with salt in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 50-60 minutes. A dense “shell” of salt will form around the mackerel, which can only be broken with a hammer. Then, with gentle movements, release the salt fish. You can serve the mackerel baked in both hot and cold salt.

Mackerel on a bed of potatoes

For dinner, you can cook mackerel on a bed of baked potatoes. It is one of the recipes for baked fish for babies, if you replace the mackerel with hake.
The classic combination of fish and boiled potatoes will please your loved ones, and for you it will be a great surprise the simplicity of preparation and the minimum investment of time.
Ingredient :

  • Mackerel – 2 pcs. (600 g);
  • Potatoes – 800 g;
  • Cream 30% – 200 ml;
  • Orange – 1 pc .;
  • Lemon – 1/2 piece;
  • Unt – 40 g;
  • Green basil – 20 g;
  • Olive oil – 2 teaspoons;
  • Ground black pepper – to taste;
  • Salt – 1 tsp;
  • Butter (optional) – to grease the shape;
  • Basil – for serving;
  • Lemon – for serving.

Cooking steps :
Boil the potatoes first. To do this, wash them, clean them and immerse them in a bowl of water. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and put on the fire. After boiling, reduce the heat and cook until cooked through. Separate the mackerel head, then the tail and fins.
Cut it with a sharp knife and remove the bones (you can buy a fish already cut, this will make your life a lot easier). Drain the juice of half a lemon and an orange and soak the mackerel fillet in it. Leave to marinate for 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, the hot boiled potatoes should be crushed with butter after the water has drained. Grease the baking dish with butter. Put the puree in the pan and flatten with the back of a spoon. Place the mackerel slices on top, add salt, pepper and sprinkle with olive oil. Bake the fish at 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
For the sauce, put the minced basil cream on the fire for about 3 minutes. Then grind the sauce with a blender, strain it through a sieve and add salt to taste. The sauce became smooth, pale green. Usually, for croquettes, the fish is fried in hot oil, which is not very good for health. Therefore, we present you a recipe for baked croquettes, frozen or served immediately.
Ingredients :
For croquettes :

  • Cod (file) – 250 g;
  • Corn flakes (unsweetened) – 80 g;
  • Eggs – 1 pc .;
  • Wheat flour – 2 tbsp;
  • Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp + 1 tbsp grease;
  • Lemon – 1/2 piece. (about 60 g);
  • Water – 2 tbsp;
  • Salt to taste;
  • Ground black pepper – to taste.

For the sauce :

  • Mayonnaise – 60 g;
  • Fresh parsley – 5 branches;
  • Lemon peel – 1/2 tbsp.

Wash and dry the cod fillet. Cut into equal pieces. Add salt, pepper and pour lemon juice on top (the peel is grated on a grater, it will be needed later) and vegetable oil. Refrigerate the fish for 30 minutes. Grind the cornflakes with a blender.

The fillet of any fish is passed through a meat grinder together with the onion. If you have already prepared minced fish, add the onion, chopped into small cubes – with it the meatballs will be juicier. Put the chopped fish in a bowl, add the butter, salt, pepper and breadcrumbs. Mix well. Wash and divide the broccoli into inflorescences.
Boil water, salt, put broccoli in water. Cook no more than three minutes after boiling. Then drain the water. For the sauce, mix in the cream and grated cheese.
Add salt and pepper to taste. Form small round meatballs. Put them in a baking dish greased with butter. Place in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees, for 10 minutes, so that the meatballs are lightly cooked.

  • Vegetable oil – 4-5 tablespoons;
  • Boiled water.

Cooking steps :
Wash the mackerel carefully, clean the inside, and cut off the head. Rinse the fish again and wipe it with a paper towel. Make two cuts on each side of the case. Rub the fish with salt and black pepper, grease with vegetable oil (1 tbsp) and sprinkle with lemon juice. Leave for 30 minutes.
Peel a squash, grate it and slice it. In a pan, heat 2-3 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Fry the potatoes until golden brown for 5-7 minutes. At the end of frying, the potatoes are salted. Peel an onion and cut it into circles. Cut the peppers into long slices. Peel and finely chop the garlic.
Chop the parsley. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes and leave for 5 minutes. Then peel the tomatoes and finely chop them.

Sprinkle with salt, ground black pepper and lemon juice. Peel an apple, grate it and squeeze the juice. Put the apple on a grater and put it in the heated butter in a pan for about 2 minutes. Pour soy sauce, add sour cream. Stir and boil the apple sauce for about 1-2 minutes.
Finely chop the onion and carrot (if you want, you can use tomatoes and zucchini; you can activate your imagination and cook fish skewers with fruit – bananas or oranges / tangerines). Cut the mackerel fillet into slices and place them on the skewer, alternating the pieces of fish with the vegetables.
Sprinkle with boiled apple sauce, leaving a few tablespoons of sauce to serve. Bake the fish in a preheated oven at 180 degrees. This will take about 15-20 minutes. The skewers are served hot. Sprinkle with chopped herbs before serving.

Baked fish steak

  • Fish fillets – 500-600 g;
  • Vegetable oil – 100 ml;
  • Onions – 2 pcs .;
  • Tomato sauce – 3 tbsp;
  • Ground red pepper – to taste;
  • Fish broth – 250 ml;
  • Garlic – 0.5 puppies;
  • Chopped greens – 2 tbsp;
  • Salt – to taste;
  • Bay leaf – 1-2 pcs.
  • Black peppercorns – 5-6 pcs.

Cooking steps :

Cut the onion into rings. Grease the baking tin with vegetable oil and put onion rings in it. Put the carp pieces. Cut the potatoes into circles. Place the potatoes next to the fish. Cut the lemon in half in circles, place them inside the fish and on top.
Put the fish bowl in the oven. Bake the carp weighing about 2 kg for about 60 minutes at 200 degrees. The heavier the fish, the longer it will take to cook and vice versa. Remove the baked carp and allow the fish to cool slightly.
After that, carefully transfer the baked carp to the plate, being careful not to crush it, because the fish will be very soft. Place onions and baked potatoes on a plate, decorate the fish with fresh herbs and serve.

Greek style baked fish

Ingredient :

  • White fish fillets – 700 g;
  • Tomatoes – 2 pcs .;
  • Cheese – 150 g;
  • Cream – 200 g;
  • Garlic – 3 cloves (to taste);
  • Parsley;
  • Green onions;
  • Sare;
  • Black pepper.

Cooking steps :
Cut the tomatoes into small cubes. Cut the greens well. Crush the garlic in the resulting mass, add salt and add the cream. Grate the cheese and add it to the rest of the products. All mix well. Cut the fish into portions and place on a baking sheet.

  • Olive oil – 2 tbsp;
  • Fresh rosemary – 2 branches;
  • Fresh thyme – 2 branches;
  • Salt – to taste;

Rinse and dry thyme and rosemary. Cut a few slices of lemon for the mackerel.

Ingredient :

  • Pike fillets (or perch) – 300 g;
  • Broccoli – 200 g;
  • Bell peppers – 150 g;
  • Praz – 40-50 g;
  • Fresh thyme – 7-8 branches;
  • Olive oil – 50 ml;
  • Soy beans – 10 ml;
  • Honey – 10 g (to taste);
  • Salt – to taste;
  • Ground black pepper – to taste.

Cooking steps : The
peppers are peeled, the seeds are removed and cut into strips. Wash the broccoli and divide it into inflorescences. Chop the leeks in half rings. Wash the fish fillet, dry it with a paper towel and rub it with salt and pepper. Put baking paper in the baking dish. Spread the broccoli along the perimeter of the form.
